Is Your Quicken Password Not Working? Time to Try these Fixes

The condition of the Quicken password not working is enough to scare any user. The application is a goldmine of financial information and is of critical nature. Method 1 - Resetting the Password

This will be needed if you forgot your Quicken login password. To proceed with this method:

1.     Visit the Quicken ID login screen. Next, navigate to the link that says I forgot my password;

2.     Next, enter the login ID and click on submit;

3.     Now you will receive a verification code. This will reach either the registered mobile number or the email ID.

4.     After this, enter the same verification code and click on Submit;

5.     Next, you will be diverted to the login page. Here, enter the new password, confirm it, and click on Sign In.

Method 2 - Addressing Quicken ID already exists

This issue occurs when you click on Create an Account, instead of Sign In. This is quite a simple error, and is easy to fix:

1.     Firstly, go back and click on Sign In;

2.     Next, enter the Quicken ID and password carefully;

3.     Now if the password reflects as incorrect, follow the first method written above.

Method 3 - Overcoming the Blank Password

New users face this issue while creating an account. The password they enter might not work. Hence, here are the ways to overcome the issue:

1.     First, verify if the account information you put in while creating an account is correct. This includes the correct email ID and any other valid information;

2.     Next, enter the login information of your bank account. Make sure to feed this info carefully since it is of utmost importance;

3.  Finally, enter a password that is in line with the requirements. After that, log in to the account.

Method 4 - Correcting the Password Vault

The Password Vault is a superb convenience in the Quicken application. However, it becomes an issue if the data in it is incorrect. This might happen due to outdated passwords which are syncing with your current login attempts. This leads to the Quicken password not working. The simplest way to resolve this issue is to recreate the Password Vault. To play it safe, you can also print the old passwords. After this, delete the old Password Vault and create a new one in its place.
