Option 2: Using QIF to download PayPal to Quicken

 

First, you have to download the QIF file.

1.     First, you need to visit paypal.com and log in to your account.

2.     After that, click Reports and choose Activity Download.

3. Here you will find the Create New Report box. Here you have to choose transaction types, date ranges, and currency (USD preferably).

4.     After that, click Create Report for your transaction history.

5. You will find the new report in the Activity Reports. After that, you have to download it once it is ready.

6.     You will find the QIF file in the Downloads folder by default.

 

After that, download PayPal into Quicken with these steps:

 

1.     For this, you have to launch Quicken.

2.     After that, go to Tools > Add Account. Now choose Cash.

3.     Here you need to click Next and follow the instructions to create the Cash Account.

 

After the creation of the Cash Account

 

1.     You have to navigate through File > Import > choose the QIF file.

2.     After that, you will find the QIF Import section and choose Browse.

3.     In the next screen, you have to choose the recently made Cash Account.

4. After that, you have the option to use the Include in Import option to add any additional info you want to import.

5.     Finally, once you are sure that all the options you need have been checked, you can proceed further. For this, you have to click on Next after you select adequately.
